We’ve all been there, haven’t we? But of course, in the years since, I’ve learned that it’s not that the world that changed; it was my own heart. When we’re in love, our hearts open up like flowers, making the whole world seem like paradise. Wouldn’t it be great to live this way all of the time?
how to love
A lack of love will take many forms that slowly creep up on us in very subtle forms, such as; irritability, impatience, loss of focus, feeling overwhelmed,passive/aggressive behaviors, “checking out” mentally more than usual, feeling rushed, physical aches and pains and much more.
Have you ever thought about how versatile the word love is? It can be somewhere you long to be … to be “in” love, a great fondness you feel for something or someone… “I love pizza or I love you” (indicating a vastness in its intensity I think!) something you want to feel… “I am loved”, a description for something or someone… “The flowers look lovely”, a way something is… “That baby is so lovable”. We describe Spirit as pure love and with that we have a knowing of something wonderful, forgiving and unconditional.
