It’s been said that, where there’s life, there’s hope, and that’s certainly the case for the beleaguered City of Gotham in this picture, as well as in our own often-troubled world. As long as we never lose sight of that and are willing to become our own Dark Knights, we can hold on to the prospect of bringing it into being for ourselves.

Are you having trouble staying in a positive state of mind when challenging circumstances present themselves? The Universal Laws state: so without, so within. Everything is a mirror. We cannot change the reflection, but we can change the original(ourselves),and then, automatically, the reflection changes.

In the world of yoga the hips are often referred to as the ‘junk drawer’ because they can store a lot of baggage, old relationship energy and make us ‘stuck in our ways’ if they are not balanced. Energetically when the chakra associated with hips (known as Svadhishthana Chakra) is balanced – we can easily ‘go with the flow’, accept change in our lives and get our creative juices flowing. On a physical level, the hips are quite literally ‘Grand Central Station’. Tightness, weakness or muscle imbalances in the hips can affect the joints, muscles and bones below (such as knees, ankles and feet) and above (such as the shoulders and neck).

Forgiveness can play an integral part in ushering these new changes that you can to create for yourself. It will allow you truly cut ties with any bonds from your past and focus on creating your future and living in the present.

For me honoring the Divine within me means loving myself for all my power and all my foibles. I no longer try to tuck those parts of myself away that I am ashamed of. I try to love them just like a crusty waitress and somedays they smile at me too. Maybe it is true that the more we truly love ourselves we can truly love another. Maybe next Valentine’s I will send myself flowers.

My system is like a buffet, taking bit of this, doing a bit of that so at the end of the week you have some made some semblance of progress and you feel satisfaction, like after a good meal.
