Are you exhausted with it all?
The constant dress rehearsal for a future that doesn’t belong to you.
One that in spite of all the suffering; the long nights, the early mornings, the daunting drives, the cubicle, the ego driven bully boss, to live a life that’s comfortable in the future. A future you might never even make it to.
It seems as if from infants we were conditioned for a life versus prepared for a life of our own choosing.
I mean it could seem like we choose it, perhaps we choose the college degree, the car, the house, the counter top, the bathroom tiles.
But did we ever stop long enough to notice if this is what we really wanted?
As the great Alan Watts says we seemed to be “conditioned to be in desperate need of a future”
So much so that we miss out on the present in the present.
When we are in a state of presence, without worry about what our future might look like, we are in our natural state, an authentic state of joy, grace, we walk as the great masters walked.
That place right there is where the truth comes in, our truth, and from that place we can know who we truly are.
And then, take one step at a time to gracefully walk in the direction of what’s authentically ours.
Not without challenges, cause I don’t think there’s a life without them, but with more reverence, more joy.
More YOU!
