Making the most of the day is where momentum starts to build and life feels like it’s propelled by fate and luck and everything amazing.
That said…waking up early and getting nothing considerable done by noon is not unusual. In fact, some of my clients and friends (and me when I’m out of whack!) can find themselves for days or weeks with nothing really moving forward that needs to be done… even with the best intentions!
In the not-so-awesome loop that is created, it becomes less and less exciting and simple to move forward the more you’re stuck in place or frittering away your most valuable resource: time.
In feng shui, this block to completing things is a block in flow. Sometimes it’s called sha chi. Or…bad vibes!
Think of it as tangled, confused or otherwise-not-moving stuff standing between you and what you want.
And… you can sweep it out of your way!

Add more good vibes. The fastest way I know to add good energy to a space: music. You can add music right now. Music with lyrics you want to have in your head… or, better for productivity, music without lyrics that is full of flow!
Short-circuit a habit that’s holding you back. If your day comes to a halt with sugar, don’t do it. If it’s surfing the internet, just stop. Whatever throws you out of your power has to go. Typically- unless you have a serious addiction or issue that requires treatment that I encorage you to get- it’s something daily or often that’s tossing you out of your groove and simple to fix.
Get accountable. Ask someone you trust to hold you to your habit switch. Hire someone if you need more gravity behind your decision, like a life coach or a trainer or anyone who will help you stay accountable.
Collect your energy. Are you all over the place?
Stop whatever you are doing and write down your priorities.
That’s all you have to do. Don’t do anything else all day except at least one step to move a priority forward! This is powerful. All the random emails and research and even brilliant ideas are not as vital as your priorities… and that first big step will get it all started!
These are three big concepts to help you add more flow and abundance to your life and take the drama out of the day.
To take it all to the next level: immerse yourself in abundance!
