I wonder how many people know that there’s something called happiness yet don’t quite trust that happiness is possible? During the years I’ve spent studying and writing about Spiritual thinking, and working as both a Life Coach and Psychic Medium I have realised that for many happiness is an abstract concept rather than something that can be realised in the here and now.
It is true that our thoughts create our lives yet I have also learned that all the time you seek happiness with your mind only it will remain a concept, it is when you seek happiness with your whole being – particularly your heart – that you will have a real chance of manifesting happiness in your daily life.
Happiness does not depend on intellect, planning or structure, it depends purely on truth; your truth. If you are spending a lot of time thinking about what makes you happy you lack key information. If, however, you make a conscious decision to note how you feel about your life then and have the courage to listen to your intuition you will be working with all the key information you need.
No matter how your parents lived or what your friends are doing, or what anyone thinks equals happiness, it is for you to find that out for yourself. This is not selfish , far from it, if you become a happy person then you will become someone who heals those they care about just by being in the same room or speaking to them on the telephone. You will become a beacon of light for those in the darkness to find and emulate. The truth always leads to genuine kindness and consideration in a way that social mores and constructions never will.
Once you begin this section of your life journey you may also find that the things that are supposed to make you happy – such as success, money, large houses, private schools, foreign holidays and anything else you care to name – are not the things that make you happy. You may find that being happy is simpler than you ever believed possible.
Because even though happiness has to come from true feelings and emotions it is those feelings and emotions that will generate the correct thoughts. I’m sure that you have already realised that however stubbornly you think positively if you don’t feel positive the message doesn’t get any further than your brain cells. It is in being happy because you feel happy that you manifest happiness.
So start from the simple things such as birdsong and sunshine, great friends and great music, and build up to the more expensive things such as a home in the right place. Once you start generating simple happiness you will find that you approach the world in a better way and therefore find it easier to manifest the big expensive things – should you still require them.
Oh, and smile…that’s always a good start.
