Food Coloring is very toxic, made up of artificial dyes. The different colored dyes have been connected to health issues. For example, Yellow No. 5 has caused allergic reactions in people. Red and Yellow dye have resulted in hyperactivity in children. Green No. 3, Red No. 40 and Yellow No. 6 have been liked to cancer in rats and mice.
Knowing this information I went on search to figure out how to make all natural food coloring from products found in my kitchen. I can’t wait to share this with you! Please add the coloring in Playdough recipes where it calls for water or any other recipes that call for the food to change color, such as frostings.
