Following the Eagle
Apart from the vulture this mighty bird is the largest flying predator on the sky. Its most famous quality is its sharp sight that goes beyond imagination. Its large pupils allow only slight scattering of the incoming light, therefore the eagle is able to see very far. The structure of its eyes help further to open the horizon. The eagle has the most beautiful, strong and balanced body.
Whatever it does, comes from the heart. Its motions are composed and never in vain. The main characteristic of this elegant bird is consciousness. Nothing can get away from the oversized, strong, hooked beak. The forceful legs and sizeable talons help in the work. It makes use of everything in the tool box.
The eagle’s name derives from the Greek boreas, meaning Northern wind and the Latin Aquilo.
Far back in the past groups of people close to nature and those who started to walk the path, admired the bird. Its total focus, conscious deeds, healthy balance, strength and wisdom served as an example for those with the desire for knowledge, inner peace and healthy soul. Those who took the work seriously found themselves nearer the Gnosis, the Great Work.
Observations proved that the eagle intuitively knows and respects nature, therefore lives in harmony with it. Consequently people started to copy the bird’s behaviour pattern. They learned the cycles of nature and its tasks. They consciously started to sharpen their senses and inner sight. Discovered Earth, the healing and ruining power of organic energies. After learning Earth they continued the journey towards New Worlds and the Universe observing its rules and regulations. These people were the shamans.
The point when an earthling turns into a shaman cannot be determined. A shaman never stops learning and searching. He lives with nature in harmony and understands that everything in the Universe has 2 poles. A shaman arranges his thoughts and endeavour to reach state of immortality.
The path of a shaman is rocky and full of trials and experiences. One cannot buy this path with an initiation, even if one pays quite a lot of money for it. This path needs to be walked.
We would take you on this road.
