Letting go of hurts and pains can “feel” like overwhelming work. The truth is quite the opposite. Once you let go, the relief is indescribable. The only word that comes close is Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
For the next 90 Days we are going to let go of just one thing that is ailing us. Just one thing, each day. At the end of this 90 Day Journey we will see where we are Spiritually, Mentally and Physically. I guarantee you that there will be an amazing change in your life. I guarantee it.
Let Go of Television
If you are already a non-TV watcher, then day one should be absolutely easy for you. Do not go around telling your family that everyone has to turn the TV’s off in the house, because you letting go of the “Negative Powers that Be” in the media. No!
Find some activities for the family to do that can possibly tear them away from the TV for a while (if you want company). If you do not care for company, huddle up with a good book. Get some nature time in the back yard. If you live in an apartment take a walk to the end of the block and back or even longer.
There are so many things that you can do to let go of Television for one day. Its not that you are giving up or sacrificing TV, but you are adding something much more relaxing or new and different.
