Lying in bed of our luxurious Amelia Island Plantation Resort room, feeling the beauty of our last day of our vacation, I saw the sun poked its head over the horizon of the beautiful ocean with waves lapping up to the edge of the beach. I could see from our bedroom a grand day was blooming ahead for all of us. I said to the Lord and my husband (Joseph was still asleep), “Well, let’s welcome the next chapter of our lives today. Thank you Lord!” Little did I know of course, what lay ahead for my teenage son Joseph (I wrote about him as being immaculately conceived in one of my former articles), my husband Chris and I in this next chapter of our day and lives.
Joseph drives now and so he drove us home which was about two and a half hours away to Deltona from Jacksonville, FL. As I told you all before, we always pray before any outings so before we left for our well-deserved vacation, we prayed. In Joseph’s mind he’s going dum-de-dum as we’re praying and I’ll explain how I know this later, if you’ll stick around.
We made one tourists stop on the way home, one to Starbucks, Chris’ favorite and then a mall called Aventure Mall. We took our time leisurely going around and then Chris and I found a Banana Republic store which we both decided to go in. We had no intention of buying anything and never had in any other locations because their clothes, in our minds were expensive. We’ve been changing our consciousness about many things. We were open to the new chapter in our lives that I mentioned in second paragraph. We both found clothing we liked and once we did, found out there was a 20% discount if you opened a Banana Republic account – which we did! That was our gift from the Universe for trusting, our confirmation that we were accepting ITS gifts to us and seeing all things as gifts and opportunities.
What does this have to do with anything, you’ll find out soon enough. We got home as Joseph predicted about 3:30 pm. He got on his phone with friends and found he was being invited to a party at 9 pm that night. He asked if he could go? Next questions from the parents, where is it, who’s party, are parents going to be there, and the whole drill he’s used to. First answer, it’s not in a residence, nobody’s house, group of my friends are going. All kids we know are touted off.
We sat him down and talked about the possibilities we did not want him involved in and to call us if something didn’t seem right or something that wasn’t right. We talked about sex, drugs, alcohol, etc. We know how social a child he has been all his life and that going was important for him to feel his independence and be social. We did not feel good about allowing him to go because of the situation but we agreed to with stipulations.
He had to call us once he got there, he had to have his charger for his phone, he had to leave his money from our trip home and take only $20 and his I.D. We insisted in getting information from him about where this place was that everyone was meeting for the party. I repeat, we INSISTED that he get information on the location! It was about 15 miles away from our home in same county. We prayed. He got a shower and left with kisses for both of us for trusting him on this next Sub-Chapter of our day.
We both had a bubble of light go off over our heads and ran to take advantage of our time alone to the master bedroom. At the prescribed time for Joseph to call at 11 pm, he called and we picked up the phone. But before this happened, I was in the Mind of God and I heard Joseph, “Mom! I’m in trouble! I need help!” As Chris lay in bed, I said, “I just heard that Joseph is in trouble. Something doesn’t feel right!”
I answered the phone and said “Hi Joseph.” He said “Mom, I need help! The police came, all the kids scattered and my car is stuck in the sand (1984 Nissan 300ZX). The sand was called, sugar cane sand we found out. Three of the kids tried to help me by pulling me out but they couldn’t get me out and their gone!”
“Tell us exactly where you are so we can get to you.” was our response. He told us the name of the main street the dirt road was off of. We were familiar slightly with the area because we’ve travelled that route to get our former gigs many times – not familiar with the street though. We kept in contact by phone with him to calm him down and told him to lock the doors and not to open the doors for anyone. We got there and now it’s about midnight.
We had put some rope, boards, and all things we could think of to help in the situation not knowing what we really needed. I suggested and Joseph suggested to Chris that we call Chevron Travel Assistance to tow him out of the dirt. Chris didn’t want to do it, he wanted to teach Joseph a lesson and not make it easy for him.
Metatron
As they worked unsuccessfully for two hours towing from front, and back, I called forth the Presence of Archangel Metatron. The rope we had was not strong enough. We found the axle of Joseph’s car was caught on the crown of a dirt mound and the tires were off the ground. No shovel to dig him out. I suggested again about calling Chevron Travel. He didn’t want to do it.
We Sure Could Your Help Right About Now!
So, in frustration, Chris and Joseph gave up but I didn’t. I knew if we left Joseph’s car there, it would not be there in the morning when we got back. What did I do? I prayed and told God we could sure use some help from our Angels right about now. Thank you!”
If Only We Just Had Some Strong Rope!
After my prayer, Chris said out loud, “If we only had some strong rope!” Joseph was sitting in seat behind Chris trying to see how we could drive out of this dark, dirty and dusty road. Two seconds after I said my prayer, we all see this tiny light moving about 300 yards away from us on up ahead. It could not be headlights, nor lights from any other vehicle. Then we didn’t see it anymore until a couple of seconds later. As we continued to drive out in our 4wd Subaru leaving the Nissan behind, a guy on a dirt bike drove up on our left side of the car. The light we all saw was a miner’s helmet with a light on it. He hollers to us, “Y’all need a rope or a chain to get yourselves out?” It’s 2 o’clock in the morning! Chris and I looked at each other, mouths gaped wide open. “YES…We do!” Chris backed up to Joseph’s car again. This guy saw the situation and knew exactly what to direct Joseph and Chris to do about 3 pointing and 4 pointing the car after the chain was hooked up.
Joseph jumped into the driver’s front seat while they worked and said as he hugged me, “Mom, I’m STUPID and DUMB! I am STUPID, STUPID, STUPID and DUMB!” I said Joseph, you made a mistake. You’re not stupid. God does not see you as Stupid or Dumb and neither do I. He hoped back out of the car to see what was going on and how to help.
It was too cold for me to stand outside so I watched from inside the car while it ran to keep me warm and offered light on the two cars. Then we heard the guy start talking. One of the profound things (and there were many) he said was that Joseph was very smart. He called on his mom and dad to help him. Your son is very smart. (That’s the opposite of what Joseph had just told me isn’t it?)
Then J. T. said, “I was stupid.” I had my truck stuck in the mud up to the windshield. Did I call my parents to help me? No. I stole a truck to help pull my truck out of the mud. This situation is nothing, absolutely nothing. I didn’t call my folks.” You were smart young man to know you could call on them and that’s what you did.” Then Joseph came back in the car and sat in driver’s seat and said “Mom, I’m not stupid!”
Then I had the impression that no one had asked this guy his name and I was right. I said, “What’s your name?” He said J.T. or did he say, J.C.? I told him “Thank you!” He said, “Yes M’am.” One of the other profound things J.T. said was that if this car was left here and it was 20 years ago, I would have taken it. It’s best that you not leave his car here because it won’t be here in the morning. Another profound thing he said was that prison can make a believer out of anyone. Joseph’s ears perked right up. He also said, “Son, you never take a decent car like this down a dirt road again. Never!” Joseph said he wouldn’t.
Now, as you recall in my second paragraph I told you how Joseph thought that Jesus was a “la-dee-da” idea even though he’s been raised with us believing and hearing and knowing about the hand of Christ in all things if you make decision with Christ in Mind. Well, standing outside with me on the dirt, he said, “Mom, for a long time, I haven’t thought much about the truth in Jesus Christ, I haven’t really believed. Mom, I will never doubt Jesus exists for us anymore. Not after this. Not after hearing your prayer and seeing what just happened for us out of nowhere at this time of morning.” He just shook his head and smiled the most beautiful smile.
I asked J.T. how he knew to come down this road and how he knew that we needed help. He said, “I have a puppy and the puppy would not stop yapping until I decided to get up and see what the ruckus was all about!
He directed the driving and pulling like an expert and my family listened and did as guided. By 3 am, we were driving up out of there with Chris driving Joseph’s car, and Joseph driving our car. Chris didn’t stop until we got to the highway off that dirt road and changed drivers.
The “Masked Rider” I humorously call him, rode off to our left down the street back to his house without even saying goodbye or waiting to hear our gratitude. He Yelled, “Hi Ho Silverrrr!” as he sped away on his dirt bike. I’m just kidding. I tooted my car horn to say goodbye and say thank you!!!! Joseph said, “I’ll never, ever forget this day for the rest of my life!” Chris said, “He just drove off Daya, without saying a word!
Who was that Masked Rider on the Harley? J.T. or J. C. or both?
