I invite you to join in today as we continue our highly interactive dialogue on the Arizona shootings, and all that it means to all of us as members of the human race…
Following my last posting I saw this entry from Laurie Clark Reynolds…
I do not understand how to take action in this matter. If I understand the teachings of the master teachers I have read, [of which, Mr. Walsch, you are a favorite! :)] we are to BE clear so to manifest/create the desired experience. And since we cannot stop others from creating their experience, we cannot have the whole world be what we desire. We can only focus out attention on BEing peace, compassion, love, empowerment, acceptance. We look at what others do and become aware, and then choose to know who we all REALLY are, even in the face of it. Knowing that all is on purpose. So, how, then to we take action. How can we tell if we are being an ostrich with our heads in the sand or if we are flowing energy in a more positive direction and not giving the news our power? I am confused. :/
I would like to respond to you, Laurie, one idea at a time…
I do not understand how to take action in this matter.
Listen carefully, and I will give you one suggestion. The way to “take action in this matter” is to see “this matter” as something larger than it appears to be. On the surface it appears to be the deranged action of one unstable individual. Only when looking deeper do we see that “the matter” is something more than that.
As one person posting here put it, succinctly, I thought…the Arizona shooter may have been unstable, but even unstable minds do not pull their ideas out of thin air. They get their imageries, their thoughts about possible solutions to the world’s problems as they see them, from the world itself. You can change the actions of individuals — yes, even unstable individuals — by changing the world in which they live.
This is a massive undertaking — but not an impossible one. Yet this solution does not have the excitement or the satisfaction of an immediate fix. And so, it has very little attractiveness for most people. Television has made us used to, and yearn for, The 26 Minute Resolution. If we can’t solve the problem in 26 minutes of looking at it, we aren’t very thrilled with the approach that’s being taken.
Unfortunately, the approach I have been suggesting takes more like 26 years. (Although it could produce its desired outcome in 26 months, if we really wanted it to. Or even, yes, in 26 minutes. Indeed, if we really wanted it to, it could resolve the problems of humanity in 26 seconds.)
The approach I have been suggesting, and that has been given to us in the Conversations with God dialogue, is to change the Cultural Story of humanity.
THAT is the “action” we can take “in this matter,” Laurie. That is what we can do. We can approach the problem at the level of Cause, rather than at the level of Effect.
The Cause of all the violence in human life is our understanding (or, more accurately, or misunderstanding, of the nature of Life Itself. We have no idea of who we are, where we are, why we are where we are, and what we intend to do about that.
That is right. We do not even have any idea of what we are intending to do in our lives…not even as individuals, much less as a group called Humanity. Until Humanity can collectively decide on its collective course, we will never get anywhere. Because all of us are heading in a thousand different directions. We say we all want the same things — peace and harmony, safety and security, love and joy and kindness and happiness — yet we can’t for the life of us (and I mean that literally) agree on a way to produce those outcomes for all. (Or even for the majority.)
Have you ever wondered, Laurie, how it is possible for over 6.5 billion people who consider themselves to be members of a highly evolved species to be utterly incapable of producing what every one of those members claims to be yearning for?
Only when we are willing to ask this question, Laurie, will we be able to find the answer.
Let’s all talk.

Okay…So Laurie…the person to whom I have been speaking, above….continues the dialogue with this entry on Facebook…
Laurie Clark Reynolds…Yes! Thank you, Neale! I do SEE and I do know that I have been sent nothing but angels! So…..The best thing I think I can do is to remember who I really am and in so doing remind others when they forget. For if I do not remind them we may all be lost. [your book, “The Little Soul and the Sun” has forever changed my life! So glad you put it in it’s own binding so it is easier for me to share and give!
There is a reason the focus is being made in this way on this tragedy. It is one of many, it is an invitation to SEE what we are collectively creating. We are being programmed! Television “programming”, computer “programming”. And Thank you Neale for being the wonderful voice amongst it that is reminding us of who we really are! I do my best to know it and be it all the time. My work is in this field. I share your work with all my clients and do my best to love the whole of the Universe in all it’s contrast. Now, my friend, tell me more!
What else can I DO to help shift the cause of it all, the Misunderstanding of Life itself! I SEE!!! Now help me move forward in a way that does not contribute to that creation, but is in alignment with the highest and best good of the grandest version of the highest vision that I have ever held for myself and for human kind!
And so it is! I eagerly await your wisdom, dear friend!
Now it is time for all of us to join in this discussion. Let’s all talk. And soon, we’ll be able to do that at LetsAllTalk.com — a new internet blogsite, as well as right here. But for now, please post your thoughts below!
Hugs…neale.

Aloha,
Media has a power few of the people working with, for or behind the cameras seem to take responsibility for, in terms of the messages of “Emergency Dramas” they create daily. On a Swedish (I’m Swedish, although living in Hawaii) newspaper they even have a section they call “The threat against humanity” where they put stories on falling dead birds, floods etc, yet leave out humanity’s own wrongdoings.
In terms of what we can do here and now for each other, besides the neverending process of Being Love, is “Changing another’s dream” and/or create a counter-praisal. Example: When I read about the bombs in the mail in Maryland, I wrote a simple and sincere praise for the US Postmen from my perspective, although be it read by millions less, it is still a positive energy put out to balance the negative, which anyone can do.
Changing another’s dream is a Shamanic expression, meaning that in terms of an ongoing trauma, we can visualize a better outcome, such as hostages being released, no bomb going off, bullet hitting different part etc. The Hawaiians once stopped a whole real Tsunami from hitting the island by collectively focusing on cold air for days in advance, hence the Tsunami never got through the “cold wall”.
Just as we can ask how we can serve, can we ask: What do you want to create today?
Light-blessings,
/Alexandra
Neale puts this point so succinctly about remembering who we truly are is the only way forward, focusing our lives living through our hearts/our God centres as a humanity and living consciously is the only way forward for humanity to awaken.
