My “Love Affair” with Jade, the Bouvier Extraordinaire, started 1 year ago.  It was love at first sight.  Although I have been doing Animal Empathy most of my life, Jade was my first “Official Customer”.  I only started my career as a Professional Animal Empath  a few months prior to meeting her.  I was invited to meet Jade by her owner Mary Giuffre and happily agreed to do so.

On the day I was to meet Jade, my mind was bombarded with thoughts.  I didn’t know their significance, but I knew they were somehow connected to my meeting with Jade, so I wrote them all on a piece of paper, just in case.

When I arrived I was greeted by the friendly faces of Mary Giuffre and Paul Clark, but the one who was most excited to see me was Jade.  She rushed towards me so fast that I got scared she would miss a step and fall down the stairs.  During our session the conversation was lively and full of energy.  It turned out that all the “messages” I wrote on My List were actually questions Mary and Paul prepared to ask me.  Jade openly shared information and than patiently sat while I was explaining it to her Humans.  While a lot was discussed, one thing became very clear, she knew she was getting old and was preparing for her New Journey, but she was very concerned about what would happen to her People, especially Paul.  She felt he would have most difficulty saying “Good Bye”.

Jade was so excited someone was finally understanding all she had to say, and connected with me so strongly, that while I was driving home from our session she continued talking to me in my mind.  Our conversation lasted well into the night, until finally at 3am I had to ask Jade to please disconnect and allow me to go to sleep.  She politely granted my request.  A few months later Jade agreed to give me a Video Testimonial about our session.  Although the one who actually spoke in a Video was Paul, Jade behaved amazingly well through the entire shoot and was on top of every cue.

I wanted very much to visit her again, but our busy human schedules constantly conflicted.  The past few months I was getting an increasingly nagging feeling that I needed to see Jade one more time before she went.  I contacted Mary and Paul and planned to set up another visit.  Unfortunately this did not come to be.  On the night of April 7, 2010, I received a message from Mary that Jade was slipping away.  The veterinary appointment was scheduled for the next morning to help her cross over.  Mary was hoping I could convince Jade to cross over on her own.  I promised to do my best and to pass on any information that I may receive from Jade in her final moments.  Once again Jade and I talked all night, but this time she communicated mainly in images and her energy was very calm and peaceful.

Jade did not cross over on her own.  At 10am the following morning she was assisted in doing so by her veterinarian.  Mary and Paul were lovingly by her side.  The reason Jade refused to go on her own was because she was fiercely loyal to her human family.  Even though she was ready to go, she needed to be sure that Mary and Paul were completely OK to let her go, and the only way she could be sure was to let them make this final decision, so that they may have peace and closure when they said their final goodbye.

Here are some of the things Jade shared with me as she was leaving this world:

1. I could see her running around once again like a puppy, playing in a beautiful field with a Big Old Tree and tall green grass. The field was covered in wild yellow flowers and was full of butterflies. The sky was clear, bright blue.  The sunshine was pouring everywhere and the air was sparkling with glitter, as if little diamonds were scattered everywhere. The air was chiming with pure crystal sounds.

2. An image of Paul creating a sun catcher from crystals. He looked very peaceful and had a big smile on his face. She loved to see him happy creating his art and wanted him to continue doing so.

3. Her favorite spot in the back yard where she would like Mary to plant a Pink Magnolia tree and place a little bench underneath it.  She will sit there with Mary whenever Mary needs her.  She said even though falling pink flowers create a mess, the petals will remind Mary of her, because she loves pretty pink things.

4. She said she will return as a Scottish Terrier or a Schnauzer, because they are small enough to hold and cuddle, yet look just like her and have nice pointy ears and beautiful bangs and beards to frame their faces.

5. She wanted Mary and Paul to know that she understood how truly fortunate she was.  Her life with them was happy and she truly enjoyed it. She said if they saw a disturbed patch in freshly fallen snow in their back yard they will know it is her rolling around in it.

Her final gift to Paul and Mary was to find inner strength to say goodbye to someone they loved so dearly.

Her final gift to me was to allow a glimpse of what awaits our furry loved ones on the other side, see its splendor and beauty, and feel complete fulfillment, freedom and euphoria.

Thank you Jade!  We will always love you!

I was introduced to vision boards a long time ago and avoided them sort of like the plague, because cutting out images from magazines and collecting inspiring words then sticking them on a board in hopes of one day acquiring those items just wasn’t my thing. I didn’t deny I wanted stuff and I figured the practice would work, but I just couldn’t see myself doing it.

With the huge success of the Secret and the heartfelt story one contributor told about his boxes and boxes of vision boards and the tearful revelation to his young daughter that years after putting them together, he unknowingly purchased and they were living in the exact home he had posted on one of those boards eons ago, I was truly impressed and determined that I was going to give it an honest shot!

I scoured the internet for exactly the right shots of the home and car I wanted. I decided on a dollar amount I felt comfortable manifesting. I grabbed the most recent bank statement for my ever-growing line of credit and meticulously whited-out the five-digit negative balance and replaced it with a prominent $00.00 value, then proudly placed my masterpiece in my Wealth and Prosperity Corner with a Feng Shui mirror positioned at just the right angle to double the value of everything I wished for and for about a month I sent out the best possible energy, visualizing and meditating on a brighter future. About two months later my manifesting time got a bit looser and by three months into it I was totally vision bored.

After several more months of completely ignoring the creation that was now collecting dust and negative energy, there was still an endless pull from my ego who believed I needed this stuff to make me happy in this life. At the same time my inner knowing was gently telling me none of it would provide what I was really looking for, so on one particularly frustrating day, I started pondering the meaning of the images I posted there and what they meant to me. The car would soon be replaced by next year’s model, the home was not truly where I saw myself and the negative bank balance I was “trying” (not a good word at any point!) to reduce was higher than ever.

I thought I knew what I wanted. Now, every thought is an energetic impulse vibrating at a certain frequency, so every material want vibrates at the same rate of other stuff we want. As I visualized the stuff I believed would satisfy, my life became a vicious cycle of wanting to want. For me the continuous manifesting of material things became distracting from my truest want, the only thing that truly gratifies.

As I’ve come to focus on the sharing of love, joy, creativity, compassion, and generosity (to myself and to others) the cycle has adjusted and everything I require to make myself physically comfortable has floated gracefully in. I do my best everyday to offer my talents and my abilities with the intention of creating abundance for the whole and find that’s all the visioning I personally require.
