READ: Tantra Alchemy ~ The meeting of Contradictions by Mahasatvaa Ananda Sarita

The world we live in is made of contradictory elements. Night and Day, summer and winter, male and female, earth and sky, sex and spirit, the list is endless. There is a wonderful story in the Hindu tradition, that Brahma, (The source from where everything comes and to where everything returns) was all-alone, and feeling bored in infinite space. He created a divine play of opposite polarities in order to amuse himself. The name used for this divine play, is Leela.

First, Brahma created a cow, and then turned himself into a bull and began chasing the cow. The cow, in trying to escape from the bull, transformed herself into a deer. The bull then transformed himself into a stag and chased the deer. The deer, in running away from the amorous advances of the stag, transformed herself into a snake, and so on. In this way, through the courtship play of many species, our dual world came into being. And of course, as part of this scenario, we search for our other half, endeavoring to return to the original state of oneness.

I love this story, because it expresses the playfulness inherent in all of life and yet indicates the great alchemical secret of existence. If we wish to lift the veil and discover the essence of life, we simply need to bring opposites together, and in so doing, will discover Brahma hidden behind the apparent duality.

When practicing techniques of Tantra meditation, we are offered the opportunity to know the source of life through our own direct experience, and it is surprisingly easy to do so.

Awareness acts as the catalyst for the experience of Wholeness. This is so, because the smallest particles of matter that make up our physical reality, respond dramatically to the power of intent. Science has recently discovered what mystics have been saying for millennia, that physical reality is shaped by thought. As we think, so God actualizes.

The more aware we are, the closer we come to the creator. In fact, we become co-creators. This brings with it great responsibility. It means that whatever we intend, will happen. When you apply this quality of powerful, aware presence to bringing opposite polarities together, the result will be an instantaneous merging into the Godhead, or Brahma, which is described in Tantric terminology as orgasm with the universe. When we are divided, we remain weak. When we are whole, we become extremely powerful. We discover our Godliness.

The ability to merge opposite polarities is inherent in every human being. We come from oneness, and will return to oneness. It is our source of being. In fact, the experience of oneness is no further away than our nose. Tantric meditations are designed in such a way as to support us in experiencing our original nature, easily and naturally. Spiritual attainment is demystified and made simple and accessible to all. Our own bodies and all of physical life is recognized as the microcosm of the macrocosm.

Tantra and the Divine Feminine by Mahasatvaa Ananda Sarita

In the last 2000 years or so, women have been considered to be the weaker sex in much of the so-called civilized world. In actual fact, women have simply forgotten how to access their own power, the Divine feminine. In Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching, he says: “The valley spirit never dies It is named the mysterious female And the doorway of the mysterious female Is the base from which heaven and earth spring It is there within us all the while Draw upon it as you will It never runs dry.”

Tantra and the Divine Masculine by Mahasatvaa Ananda Sarita

The Divine Masculine is a timely subject for 2012, as this is the year when the old world transmutes into a new world, according to the famous Maya predictions. Bring it on! The old world has been dominated primarily by an imbalanced masculine, which shows itself in the number of wars and general raping of planetary resources. This has happened because the masculine has been divorced from the feminine for a few thousand years, and by so doing has gone into a fevered testosterone fueled orgy of competition and destruction. I am by no means saying,…

READ: Cosmic Cheerleaders by Edie Wienstein

Candy Danzis refers to herself as “The Mainstream Mystic” and that she is, as she bridges the worlds of the mainstream and metaphysical. For most of her career, she worked in the world of finance, making sense of dollars and cents. Now she works with senses of a different type….clairaudience (the sense of clear hearing), clairsentience (the sense of clear feeling), clairvoyance (the sense of clear seeing), and claircognizance  (the sense of clear knowing).  In front of a room, she radiates warmth and humor, ‘rock star’ microphone on her ear, perfectly coiffed blond hair across shoulders usually draped with a vivid color; today it was ‘hot mama’ raspberry pink. Her husband Brian Danzis is, as she refers to him “The brains” (the techno-dude who makes sure that the sound system works)  behind this one woman road show that on this day, brought them from their home near Hershey, PA to my interfaith community called Circle of Miracles, outside of Philadelphia. He is also known as “Mr. Candy” and as someone else joked today “The Candy Man”.

Besides being a savvy business woman and angel communicator, she is also a cancer survivor. Healthy for most of her life, this stealth condition took her by complete surprise and brought with it a chance for huge emotional and spiritual growth.  In 2008, as she was planning the annual Claim Your Power Conference, she received the diagnosis, which put the event on hold. At first, she viewed the treatment she was to receive as toxic. Then a friend suggested that she shift her perception so that she saw the chemotherapy as being divinely inspired.  In the many months that followed, not once did she feel ill from side effects. Today, she stood before us in in radiant good health.

Her message was clear and simple, and that is that each of us has a guardian angel assigned to us at birth whose job it is to guide us. They, along with a host of various Divine messengers are just waiting to be asked to help. In fact, she stated that by our acceptance of their assistance, we are doing them a favor. As she shared those words, which I have heard many times before, tears sprung up and I really got it.  I had this image of a row of cosmic cheerleaders with pom poms waving, kicking up their heels as they rooted for my transcendent touchdown.

She spoke of the grand opportunities she sees in 2012 which flies in the face of the mainstream media view of the cataclysmic end of the world

Candy sees it as a chance to experience positive shifts with dynamic outcomes. She invited us to engage in five specific practices that would enhance our lives.

  1. Practice Joy, making it our ‘new normal’. What if you could truly live in joy, immersing yourself in its bubbling over essence? Joy attracts more joy, pleasure, more pleasure. It is contagious and draws into our experience, other people who live in that juicy way as well. I’m all for that!
  2. Accept what is. The past is over and unless we can invent a time machine to return to it, it serves no valuable purpose except as a teacher of what to continue doing that worked and what never worked in the first place and we ought not to do THAT again.  Once you take stock of where you are, consider whether you want to stay put, or move ahead.
  3. Raise your vibration. Her statement that “the planet is moving to a higher vibration”, calls for us to join in and amp ours up as well. She talks about “feeding our spirit” with loving thoughts, positive people, meditation, energy work, affirmations, exercise, being in nature and restorative sleep. Like attracts like, once again.
  4. Trust you Gift of Creation. Candy invited us to move beyond the gloom and doom mass consciousness mentality and into conscious creativity of what it is that we do want, rather than what we may fear.
  5. Take Guided Action. She sees this as a beyond expectation time to manifest from our heart’s desires.  Calling on the angels, our spiritual tools and this transformative statement:  “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.”, coined by Emile Coue’  When used through the day, she shared, that it made a huge difference in the way she felt.

I felt a hardy YES! resonating through me as she reinforced “Everybody and everything is conspiring for my Highest Good.  How about them apples?

Does Your Relationship Ever Get You Down? by Ed and Deb Shapiro

Shortly after we were married we went to India and spent our honeymoon in monasteries and ashrams. We also had a private meeting with the Dalai Lama at his residence in McLeod Ganj, in the foothills of the Himalayas. As Ed recalls: After some thirty minutes of talking with him I was feeling so moved by this gentle and loving man that I didn’t want to leave! I was completely in love with this delightful being. He was so ordinary, sitting between us and holding our hands. Finally, I said to him, ‘I don’t want to leave! I just want to stay here with you!’ I knew he would understand my sincerity and would say yes,…

READ: Time and Disease by John Cali

John Cali

Spirit often gives me spontaneous messages, even when I have not intended to channel. Typically those messages are very short, and usually only for my personal benefit, not for the public.

However, Spirit obviously did not intend this message, given me in the pre-dawn darkness of a cold Sunday morning, only for my personal benefit.

Here’s Spirit.

Spirit

Linear time does not exist in the nonphysical world of Spirit. Neither God nor the angels experience time.

Therefore, they see neither cause nor effect. There is no cause or effect. There is only experience.

Humans need the concept of linear time to navigate the physical world. But beyond that time has no reality.

So what humans perceive as cause and effect is simply a matter of focus — what they are focusing on is what they will experience. While cause and effect may appear real to human eyes, it is not. It is simply each human creating his or her experience by what they focus on.

As many, including us, have said, you get what you focus on, or think about, most of your waking hours.

So what does all this mean in the context of disease or illness?

Well, if there is no cause, no effect, then what is perceived as cause and what is perceived as effect are simply a matter of where you are focusing, and what you are choosing to experience.

If you have a disease, no matter how minor or major, you can heal yourself simply by removing your focus from the condition.

However, for that to be effective, you have to let go of the old notion of cause and effect. Your disease has no cause, except for the attention you’ve given it.

When you’ve removed your attention from it and placed your attention on health and wellness, the disease will vanish and you will experience health and wellness.

This does not have to take a long time, although it may. It can be instantaneous because, remember, in the world of Spirit, there is no time.

The disease you wish to be free from, and the health you wish to experience, both exist now, in this present moment. The present moment is the only “unit of time,” if you will, that matters. Everything that has ever existed or will ever exist, exists now.

So you can have either disease or health. Both are literally at your fingertips. Focus only on what you want. Think about only what you want. The choice is yours.

But the choice for health is much easier to make when you stay aligned with your higher selves, your spirit selves. Then you will make all your choices from the timeless perspective of Spirit.

After I transcribed and read Spirit’s words, I realized the message could be controversial, with folks responding positively and negatively. And I realized there’s more to say on this topic than we’ve said here today. So I’d be very interested in your thoughts. Please comment below.

The Road to Real Peace by John Cali

The Meaning and History of Tantra

Part of my mission in teaching Tantra is to clear up misconceptions about it. When I moved to Europe in 1999, having spent 26 years in India, I was amazed to find out that most people seemed to believe that Tantra was all about sex and promiscuity with a few feathers and some incense thrown in for good measure.  The general public still carry such concepts, and some even think that Tantra is a code word for a massage with a ‘happy ending.’ I offer here a little reality check. READ: The Spirit of Christmas by John Cali

I don’t pay much attention to the mainstream news, though I do browse through it quickly now and then, just so I have some idea of what’s going on in the world. Though there’s a lot more going on in the world than what the news media publish, which is mostly “bad” news. There’s more good news than bad. But we rarely see it in the headlines.

I’m fascinated by the so-called “War on Christmas.” It seems to me our world is obsessed with war. We have the usual wars going on, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Palestine, etc. etc. Then we also have the war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on poverty, and so on. There are wars all over the place. And now we have a war on Christmas. Read more

READ: A Season of Spirit by Gina Sendef

December 10, 2011 by
Filed under •-Headline, Angels, Peace, Spirituality

‘Tis the season to be?  This time of year is a special one for many reasons; be they religious, personal, familial, celebratory.  Whatever the case, the holiday season is different from the rest of the year.  For many, it is a happy time, for some it is a lucrative time and for lots it is a stressful time.  Whatever this time of year has meant to you in the past; this year, let it also be a season of spirit.

Take the opportunity to form a deeper connection with our Creator and the angels.  In the story of Jesus’ birth, angels played a vital role as the messengers of his arrival.  Today, they are still trying to reach us, sending messages of love.  Let this be the season that you allow yourself to receive those messages and feel the loving presence of the Divine.

We are not alone; we are all surrounded by love every moment of every day.  It is there if you choose to see and feel it.  Often, we are filled with anger, resentment, sadness, irritation and other distractions that block our ability to sense this Universal love.  There is a way back to it if you choose to follow it.  Living in gratitude will align you with your higher self who only knows love.

Find at least one thing for which to be grateful every waking hour of every day this holiday season.  Keep a List of Thanks and write down your gratitude discoveries.  Soon, you will raise your vibration and begin to see and feel the Divine love of the Universe and your angels.  When you embrace a season of spirit, yours will surely begin to shine!

Gina Sendef is a independent Spiritual Self-Help Author and Angel Intuitive. Writing is her life long passion. Her soon to be self-published first book, “Truth Works, Divine Life Lessons for Kids of all Ages”, is a self-help book geared towards reading age children, teens and young adults. The premise for Truth Works is to undo harmful affects that exisit when our children are taught traditional life lessons like “life is not fair” or “money is the root of all evil”. The goal of the book is to undo this programming at a young age, ensuring the subconscious belief system for our children is optimistic, safe and secure. When we address these destructive beliefs in childhood and expose their false nature, they cannot reside in our subconscious minds for a lifetime as the basis for our beliefs. We are left with the pure, positive and absolute spiritual TRUTH. She created Angel Works as a means to work with the positive and loving energy of the angels to provide people with guidance that will improve their health, uncover their life’s purpose, enrich their relationships and enhance their lives. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Truth-Works-by-Gina-Sendef/179796375389186
