Three Little Birds | Playing For Change

We begin the journey in West Africa, the ancient village of Kirina, Mali. Three instruments start to play and we hear the familiar words “don’t worry about a thing, every little thing is gonna be alright.” This timeless message invites us on a musical journey through time and space. Together we continue to connect the world through music.

When you were first born you had more than 100 trillion cells – more than all the stars in the Milky Way.
Your blood travels 60,000 miles per day on it’s journey through your body. Your bones are four times stronger than concrete. Your eyes can take in more information than the largest telescope in the world.
The miracle is YOU.

4th of July from DuckDuck Collective on Vimeo.

We went on a road trip for 30 days to 30 cities filming one story each day of people around America.

This day we were in downtown Asheville, NC for the 4th of July celebration. We didn’t know a soul but by the end of the night we found ourselves in a parking lot with new-found friends setting off fireworks illegally. And we got there in a convertible driven by a friend who looked like he fronted a 50′s rockabilly band. All in all, an amazing night and one of the more meaningful videos we made.

July Talent of the Month

Jillian Rae is a 13 year old singer/songwriter from Long Island, NY. Jillian has just released her first single, “Just Another Day” produced by Don Chaffin from DCity Studios and her guitar teacher Larry Meyer. She has been writing lyrics since she was 7 and has been playing the acoustic guitar for two years. The video, for Just Another Day is due to be released early July. She has done musical theater, commercials and modeling but has found singing to be her passion. She loves the organic sound of Sheryl Crow and has the same soulful tone. Her music is upbeat and can make someone who is having a bad day, smile and forget about everything for at least 4 minutes and 2 seconds. Jillian Rae’s sound feeds the soul and spreads positive energy one note at a time.

Jillian attends Cold Spring Harbor High School and has performed at the Huntington Tulip Festival, the Huntington Fall Festival (main stage), the Nick Cannon show at Tanger Outlet, and Strawberry’s Restaurant in Huntington. According to her mom, Jillian Rae would love to keep on writing and playing her guitar and performing. To see more of what Jillian is up to, go to jillianrae.net.
