Interview with Dr. Masaru Emoto about the effect of his discovery for us in daily life
Masaru Emoto (江本 勝 Emoto Masaru?, born July 22, 1943) is a Japanese author and entrepreneur known for his claims that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water. Emoto’s hypothesis has evolved over the years of his research. Initially Dr. Emoto claimed that high-quality water forms beautiful and intricate crystals, while low-quality water has difficulty forming crystals. According to Dr. Emoto, an ice crystal of distilled water exhibits a basic hexagonal structure with no intricate branching. Emoto claims that positive changes to water crystals can be achieved through prayer, music or by attaching written words to a container of

Feeling alone? It’s important to find others with whom we can bridge this chasm. But that’s hard to do. And, as individuals, aren’t we supposed to face the world alone? So it would seem. And yet? As we try to share our singularity, we discover the word, alone, turns into “all-one.” Now we begin to embrace the idea that we are all one – with each other, our Universe and our Creator.
That Shift is here, and rapidly expanding. Many others care about freedom, too. And equality. And justice. And peace. And other people. We see their peaceful demonstrations on the news. We’ve even wished in our hearts that we could join them. That’s only the surface of the movement, which reverberates deeply in millions of people in every country. It doesn’t need a leader, or even a label for its many causes. Yet it refuses to be quelled.
The Shift is unique in human experience. Never before have individuals had the technical means to contact others – even clear across the world – who encounter similar needs and problems in getting those needs met. Basic needs of human experience that demand action. What action? The Shift brings non-violent changes that many respected people do not even believe possible.
And we are joining them, just by wishing. We’re sending them energy. How? It’s simple; it can be even easy. Every positive thought or action boosts The Shift. Every smile, every laugh, every “thank you.” Every time you smile into the eyes of a stranger in the aisle of the grocery store. Every time you move your grocery cart – or car – out of the way of someone who has a harder time maneuvering than you do. It’s meeting minor problems with genial humor. We simply live our values, and let respect, love, truth and kindness guide our behavior. Sometimes that’s not so easy.
The Shift? How do we know it even exists? What is it? It’s within us – and within everyone else who has decided that we will work toward and within a loving world that meets the real needs of its citizens. We’re tired of living in fear and scarcity. Basic to The Shift is the trust that we get what we expect and we expect a better world, with compassion, equality and abundance for everyone, and “with liberty and justice for all.” The Shift will continue, because love always prevails. Naturally, each of us has differing experiences of The Shift, but our collective blessings continue to multiply.
Don’t worry about joining The Shift. It joins you. Just live the way you want the world to be. That’s all you have to do. As you do, you’ll find others responding in kind. Kind others. And as you thank them for their kindness, you’re thanking the Holy Spirit, who is gently inviting more people each day to join The Shift. As you begin feeling the Divine Energy within you, you know that it’s – and we all – are there with you. Not alone. All one. Welcome to The Shift!
“ . . . And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”* I believe that God’s love is that same Holy Spirit, which is nudging us all toward The Shift. We discover profound joy in its stillness as it crosses the face of the planet, peacefully, lovingly healing our very souls. *Genesis 1:2

Why Oneness Matters
October 19, 2011 by Gina

October 24, 2011 marks the second annual Global Oneness Day to celebrate the oneness of all life. Its purpose is to awaken oneness and celebrate our inner connection and outward diversity. While I believe more and more people are truly grasping the depth of our connectedness, I know that others can only give lip service to the concept. So, in honor of Global Oneness Day, I wanted to give a perspective on why it is important; why oneness matters.
In truth, it is actually the only thing that matters and I believe it is God’s will for us to discover and honor that we are all connected; we are one. Every living being shares the same light; some of us can see it, others can feel it and many do not detect it at all. This light that we share is from God, our Creator, the Universe; whatever your belief it comes from the Source of all life. It is our very essence and soul and each and every living being shares a part of it which is, in essence, what forms our connection.
This connection is never broken. We cannot destroy it with war, political parties, religious beliefs, sports teams, nations, racism or any other means that separate us from each other. To embrace our connection, you first have to embrace yourself. If you do not truly love and cherish your own being, then your connection to others probably will not be a concern. The oneness starts with you.
Everything thing you say and do does not only affect others in your life, it mostly affects you. This is not only because of the law of attraction; it is because we are all connected. When you hurt another, you hurt yourself; when you help another, you help yourself. And from there it grows and grows.
When a nation wages war, it harms its own citizens. When a nation engages in humanitarianism, it helps its own people. Boundaries and borders are of no consequence to our light connection, it exists with or without them. The only thing that separates us from each other is the human ego and all of its creations.
Instead of a history filled with cooperation, we have created one filled with separation. The result is always the same; we constantly cause our own demise. We cannot ever be divided because we are one, we cannot ever be disconnected because we are one. Every single act toward another living being is an act unto yourself. Every single interaction with another living being is an interaction with yourself.
That is why self-love is vital; if you cannot love yourself you cannot truly love another, but if you do love another you can love yourself. Oneness matters because you matter. Never again think that your treatment of other people will not have a profound and direct affect on you; good or bad.
Often people believe they cannot make a difference because they cannot directly affect all of the ills in the world. In actuality, what you do and say every single day affects everything and everyone. You are the world and the world is you. Jump in, celebrate our oneness and rejoice in our uniqueness for it is all a reflection of the light. Why does oness matter? Oneness matters because you matter!

BOULDER, Colo. — Tens of thousands of compassionate activists worldwide will show what it is like Oct. 24 to live for a day demonstrating humanity’s inner unity on the second annual Global Oneness Day.
The day will be celebrated with parades, concerts, dance celebrations, exhibitions, educational events, meditations, acts of service and other activities in more than 40 countries, said Humanity’s Team, a global grassroots movement “awakening the world to oneness” that created the day last year with support from more than 75 other non-governmental organizations and other groups and individuals.
Prominent Global Oneness Day supporters include South African Nobel Peace laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu; artist-musician Yoko Ono; spiritual writers Deepak Chopra, James F. Twyman and Humanity’s Team founder Neale Donald Walsch, who also founded the Global Conversation philosophical, practical and strategic process to effect gentle revolutionary change.
Key organizational supporters include the Association for Global New Thought, a worldwide organization co-founded by leading New Thought ministers including the Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, and The Shift Network human-potential social media services company seeking to bring about positive social change.
The Shift Network is to co-produce with Humanity’s Team a 10-panel Global Oneness Day telesummit from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. EDT (15h00 GMT to 01h30 GMT Oct. 25). The telesummit, in English, is free of charge. Register at www.global-oneness-day.org.
Summit panelists are to include Chopra; Walsch; Twyman; veteran U.N. envoy and U.N. Culture of Peace emissary Anwarul K. Chowdhury; futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard; “The Four Agreements” author Don Miguel Ruiz; political activist and Tikkun magazine editor Rabbi Michael Lerner; mystical scholar and Institute for Sacred Activism founder Andrew Harvey; developmental biologist and “The Biology of Belief” author Bruce Lipton; researcher Lynne McTaggart, whose book “The Field” discusses scientific discoveries supporting the theory the universe is unified by an interactive field; Academy Award-winning filmmaker and Spiritual Cinema Circle co-founder Stephen Simon; French producer-director Emmanuel Itier, whose recent films include the award-winning “The Invocation” documentary, written with actress-producer Sharon Stone, about God and world peace; and singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins, who brought us “Footloose,” “Danger Zone” and “I’m Alright” in the 1980s but then experienced a spiritual rebirth.
A special five-person telesummit panel discussing uBuntu, the classical African worldview of oneness, will include South African Member of Parliament and University of South Africa law lecturer Mathole Motshekga and uBuntu School of Philosophy Director and former anti-apartheid activist Johann Broodyrk.
Global Oneness Day was created following a Humanity’s Team presentation to the United Nations of a petition signed by more than 50,000 people from 168 countries appealing to the world body to support the day, akin to Earth Day but intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for humanity’s inner oneness.
Official U.N. recognition would mean the world body, for the first time, would officially proclaim oneness to be an issue in which it has a permanent interest and commitment. It would also mean the United Nations would decree Global Oneness Day an international holiday to be observed as a public holiday by all 193 U.N. member states.
On receiving the signatures on behalf of the U.N. Culture of Peace, Chowdhury said international peace efforts, no matter how well-intentioned, would not succeed until people recognized we are all one.
“I believe that unless we have that sense of solidarity among the peoples of the world, all our efforts of peace and security will go nowhere,” Chowdhury said at an indoor ceremony at U.N. headquarters in front of the Chagall Peace Window.
Oneness brings about an appreciation of humanity’s interdependence, which supports tolerance, understanding and solidarity, necessary for lasting peace, said Chowdhury, a former undersecretary-general and high representative of the United Nations.
Humanity’s Team Worldwide Coordinating Director Steve Farrell said oneness “shows the connection of all things, that our differences don’t have to create divisions and our contrasts don’t have to product conflicts.”
“In fact, oneness invites us to celebrate our cultural, religious and other differences because diversity is part of who we are and is inseparable from respecting human dignity,” he said.
Humanity’s Team and other activists are stepping up their U.N. appeal, advocating in behalf of the day to national governments and adding to the original petition signatures through a global Oneness Declaration in the hope of receiving the world body’s support.

I’m talking to YOU, please listen…

The world is in turmoil. There is no denying it, no stuffing it under the bed and pretending it doesn’t exist. It’s time to face reality. People are starving, countries are on the verge of bankruptcy, cities are being completely levelled by natural disasters, people are going without food or water, losing their jobs, families are breaking apart and we are all struggling inside to survive, to find a safe place within our heart and soul to take refuge so that we can face what’s at hand and the challenges we may face a head.
It can be scary, I know. If you live a fear based life and don’t have faith that there is something beyond fear, beyond our attachments to a world in which we created based on a totally unsustainable model.
Will I be able to survive a change? Can I live life without all the material that I have grown attached to? What will life look like? How will I define myself? How will I survive?
These are common questions that I hear from people who live in a fear based world. In a world controlled by mind virus’s passed on through the media and our unconscious friends who haven’t yet woken up to the possibility that we actually are the ones creating our lives, how we experience them and how we facilitate life on our planet.
I challenge to you to sit where you are, eliminate all distractions; meaning shut off your phone, your Facebook, the music or whatever you have around you that may distract you, and get silent. It might be something you are unfamiliar with but I challenge you to take the first step towards creating the life you want and try.
You may or may not be aware that the world in which we have unconsciously created is unsustainable. That we and our planet, which in essence are all one, cannot survive for much longer on the current model. We can no longer sustain ourselves on this greedy, status based, material obsessed world. It is destroying us inside and out. You have heard the phrase our thoughts create our reality, well what kind of thoughts do we have about ourselves and the world to create what we have created…
What can YOU do to change it?
First things first you can stop, breathe, be silent and allow yourself to reconnect with the truth of who you are. We never stop, were always go, go, go! On to the next task without ever stopping to consciously visualize what it is that we really want to create. We are on auto pilot, programed by a mind virus that we picked up somewhere from birth to this present moment. We’ve become like puppets controlled by some invisible power that speaks through our computers, magazines, newspapers and TV’s. A power that tells us we need to be prettier, thinner, smarter, and wealthier and that we never have enough and always need more. You’ve seen them, the commercials for lotteries painting a picture of what life would look like if you were a millionaire or the ones for Botox making promises that you’ll feel healthier, brighter and more alive if you just inject a little of our overpriced poison in your face.
What you need to understand is that these are temporary fixes attempting to convince you that the solution comes from somewhere outside of you. That the more you have and the better you look, the happier you will be. However these things, that are outside of yourself, do not and will never have the power to bring happiness to your life. The more you look outside of yourself the more suffering you will cause, within yourself and in the world. You become a participant in the spread of this mind virus which is the greatest contributer to your internal turmoil and the turmoil you are seeing on the planet as we speak.
Today take just 10-15 minutes to get silent and ask yourself. What do I truly want for myself and the planet? Ask yourself this question over and over again and then listen. Listen from the very depths of your heart and soul and you will find that answer, that connection to inner truth. What you may or may not be surprised to find is that what you truly want for yourself and others doesn’t come from a box, a bank or a needle. It’s a gift that you were born with and has been available to you all along… That gift is love, compassionate unbiased love.
You have a limitless supply of love that when tapped into has the ability to heal your life and when projected outwards, in unity, has the ability to work miracles. With love all things are possible.
If you want to create peace your life and the world remind yourself that every moment is a choice point and that in that moment you can choose the thoughts that create war or peace, love or fear and disaster or miracles. So stop, listen to your heart and be awakened to the power of unity with truth.
Namaste
