The other day my friend and I were walking around a beautiful old neighbourhood with lots of areas where one can sit and be with Nature. As we were inhaling the beauty around us we noticed an enchanting little garden behind the row of thick bushes and trees. In the middle there was a table and few chairs inviting those who might wonder in to sit down and breathe in the aroma of flowers, the beauty of their surrounding and the gentle chirping of the birds. We decided we had to go in and take this opportunity to connect with stillnes and peace. After looking for an entrance for a brief time we almost gave up when we saw a clearing between the bushes. Having to climb over the rocks and unever ground, and be mindful not to tear our clothes on surrounding branches, we finally made it to the centre of the garden where we sat at a little table and drink in the intoxicating Nature.
As we got up and turned around to leave, we noticed that just about 10 more steps to the left of where we initially fought our way through the thick bushes, there was an actual entrance to the garden, with perfect little stone steps leading to the little path. We both looked at each other and laughed. No words needed to be spoken as we both understood perfectly what was on each other’s mind.
How often it is in our life that we are in such a hurry to get to our heart’s desire that we take short-cuts through unknown territory, littered by danger and unnecessary obsticles? How often we make assumptions that there is no other way in? How often don’t realize that if we just stick it out a little longer we will find a path we are searching for, and we give up while we are only 10 steps away?
Next time you feel like you have searched and searched for your hearts desire and there is just no way you can go on any longer, just stop, take a deep breath and than just walk another ten steps further! To your amazement, the path to all your dreams may just unfold in front of you!
With love and light,

Nostalgic Moment of Life Witnessed

- Spring’s rainy morning morphs into a steamy afternoon.
I walk the path alone, a lengthy stretch of road
That leads me to my dwelling’s door.
A modest shelter that I call ” A Home”.
- In the warm drizzle of a mild rain I witness lazy mist
It rises from the heated ground,
Than slowly creeps across the road and out of sight.
- A chestnut tree erect and straight,
Adorn with white-flowered cones, I
s pulling on my strings of heart.
It is a tree of long lost youth
And I’ve collected many of it’s precious seeds
From loving soil of my native land.
- With each few steps a curious robin runs
Than freezes on the edge of the path I travel.
He stands there like a statue and greats me with his stare.
His warm-red chest burns brightly in the sun
And yellow beak, framed by intense bright eyes
Points innocently and inquiringly
Perched on his head held high, turned slightly to one side.
And I can swear I hear him whispering the words:
“I wish you a safe journey and I’m watching over you!
I will protect you from all harm
And be your faithful companion on this road
At times when you feel lonely or unsure!”
- A Starling, striking black against green lushness of the grass
It’s beak locked tightly over lengthy worm
Recoiling desperately, trying to avoid
Becoming latest meal of tiny hunter.
Worm screws itself securely into ground,
Soon losing battle quickly disappears.
- A vain Magnolia Tree, it’s arms stretched out half-naked,
Stands proudly centered amongst it’s scattered petals,
Recent adornments worn as priceless gown
Sequenced with blossoms, now simply a reminder
Of brilliant, yet Oh so brief and fleeting beauty,
Forgotten splendor in the sea of past.
But her deep sadness may be brief and temporary
For, although fancy shroud of her youth now long gone,
A fresher, greener, more mature attire
Is now hastily woven for display and admiration.
- Like pure white rice that showers blushing bride
As she runs happily to carriage on her wedding day,
So Father Wind and Mother Pear-Tree
Shower me with tiny floating petals as I walk.
They glisten in the rays of sunshine through the rainy mist
Like perfect snowflakes… Light, pure, white…
- Today I spent few precious hours reveling in the past
Basking in love of a life-long friend
Not seen for ages, yet always dearly loved.
As we both journeyed down nostalgic path of youth,
Of memories long lost and painfully forgotten,
Each one got fueled by gifted words of other,
A validation that we both were here,
Had life, had fun, had craziness, had value,
Left our mark and our legacy to World!
We both made difference and fought against the odds
And tho in business of lives we lost our sight and felt forgotten,
Rejuvenated now by rememberings of another
We take them home, along with others love and validation.
- And as I listen to my footsteps echoing against the humid day
A thought keeps running in my tired mind:
“Perhaps my life was not as extraordinary as some
In a larger scheme of things,
Never-the-less I lived!
And that I lived was witnessed by another!”
- And like the footprints etched into this road I walk on,
So are my footprints etched into the history of life!

What is my Purpose?

“PURPOSE – the reason for which something exists or is done; a goal of an action intentionally undertaken; an object being brought into use or existence.”
Have you ever had an irresistible craving for something, let’s say a chocolate ice cream, but there was none to be found in your house? You raid your fridge, and after devouring half of left over chicken, a plate of pasta, three bananas and a full box of oatmeal cookies you still feel unsatisfied, until you finally give in, go out, buy and eat a chocolate ice cream?
Now, let’s say the chocolate ice cream is your Personal Purpose. You crave it all your life, you search for it, but no matter how accomplished you become, how many things you accumulat or how many victories you win, you are still left with a craving, feeling unfulfilled, empty and dissatisfied.
“Reason for existence”, “Action with intent to produce desired outcome” and “Fulfillment of one’s usefulness”, isn’t this what we all crave for and strive to achieve in our lives?
Every person on this planet at one point or another asks “What is my Purpose in life?”
For the past three days I have been involved in an intense, full-day weekend course, called Being inAction. I am now sitting in a quiet stillness, processing and absorbing all that I have learned…
Human Beings! If there indeed exists a higher, more sophisticated life on some distant planet in this or other galaxy, to them we most likely seem like simple organisms, low in evolutionary development. We may resemble a bunch of toddlers or teens, running around thinking that we know it all, yet still lacking the ability to comprehend, recognize or accept anything that is beyond our level of development. But in our own eyes we are complex!
Humanity stands on a threshold of awakening, a new step on the Evolutionary Ladder, and wonders if we have what it takes to make the transition to the next level.
There are some of us who may have already shifted, or at least had a momentary glimpse, a brief experience of what the next level is like. There are some of us who may be oblivious to a shift or are unable to recognize the changes happening on a personal and on Global scale. There are, however, many who are standing at the edge of a Major Shift, a Grandiose and Spectacular Transition, looking into an Abyss, feeling exhilarated and petrified and wondering what will happen if they choose to take that leap.
And while some part of us thinks that we may survive this jump, the other part is convinced that we will leap to our certain death.
Change is always uncomfortable and often can be petrifying! Fear of unknown is strong and trying to let go of what you hold as your truth may feel like death.
Out of fear rises confusion and chaos. The shift is happening on a subconscious level and it is easy to understand why so many of us Globally are united in experiencing sadness, anxiety, anger and hopelessness. Yet each of us believes we are alone in our pain.
We don’t necessarily recognize this state of suffering as growth, or as a positive change. How can something positive feel so terrible? We feel lost. We don’t know how to talk about this with others, or with who we can talk to, and because of this we often feel broken and isolated.
We are so desperate for someone to come, take away our pain, take away our confusion and tell us that all will be “OK”. We want someone to give us answers and free us from our personal limbo, and one question keeps running through our minds over and over again: “What is my Purpose in life?”
Although the answer to this is deep inside us, we are unable to access it alone. In our desperation and eagerness to find answers and a way out of our Suffering, we seek out those who know, or at least sound and act as if they do.
Humanity is ready for a new level of awakening. The rise in demand produces supply in a form of someone who has answers and a Key to open a door behind which lays our capacity to end our suffering.
And thus today almost every other person seems to be some kind of Guru or Personal Coach. The problem, however, is that literally anyone who wishes so may become a coach. All they need to do is simply proclaim that that’s who they are!
With so many people claiming to be experts, how do you separate the Authentic ones from Megalomaniacs and Narcissists? How do you find the one that would be right for you? The one who would not only help you transition into the next level, but in the process of doing so will not damage you in any way? The one who truly functions from a place of Integrity and Authenticity.
I have searched for many years for such a teacher. I have seen those that are highly knowledgeable and well know, but the cost of their teaching is not readily accessible to an average person. I have seen those who claim to be the next Buddha or Christ, but in reality may be somewhat delusional or may be even dangerous. Although they may have flock of answer-seeking, desperate followers, the only goal they truly serve is feeding their own Ego. I have seen “Teachers” who have created a profitable business where they talk the “Talk” simply to excite, motivate and manipulate the masses into going out and recruiting more followers, so that they may fatten their “Teacher’s” bank accounts. I have seen those who memorized “The Lingo” and perfected “The Act” simply so that they may receive the recognition and notoriety, but in their “off-stage” life have no intention of exercising even an ounce of what they preach. I have seen those who “teach” simply so that they may feel superior to others, or those who want to resolve their own issues without having to look at themselves, or worse don’t even recognize that they have an in the first place. They fail to recognize that they have to work on their own “stuff” before they can offer help to anyone else. And the list goes on, and on, and on…
So how does someone like me, who has the need for Authenticity and Integrity hardwired in her core belief, find someone in this endless Sea of Coaches and Leaders? Who can I trust to be my guide on my journey to enlightenment? Is there no hope? Am I, and others like me, doomed to suffer without resolution?
Fortunately, there are hidden gems in a forest of “glass-beads” and “zirconium imitations”. I was thrilled to find “Being inAcrion” course presented by The Aletheia Group and led by one of the most amazing and authentic teachers I have ever encountered, Gordon Allan. This course transformed my life!
In just three days of deep exploration and guidance I was finally able to find my Personal Purpose, for which I have been searching all my life. I was than able to sea how it has manifested itself throughout my life and identified the patterns I created to prevent me from seeing and realizing the person I was meant to be.
At the end of three days I left with a Goal that not only made sense, but actually felt right to the core.
If you are a person who may be searching, growing, transitioning or questioning, If you are in pain or just wanting answers that resonate with you, I highly recommend that you at the very least come to one of two-hour information sessions and hear Gordon Allan talk.
There will be no pressure to sign up, unless of course you want to. This may be the greatest gift you will ever present yourself with. You owe it to yourself to at least explore this opportunity and than make an educated decision based on knowledge, rather than ignorance! This is your call to action!

How to wash your rabbit.

Today someone asked me for advice on how to wash their bunny. After I shared information, I realized that there may be others who may have a similar question. So I decided to share it with the rest of my friends.
There is actually no need to wash bunnies, as they are pretty good at grooming and keeping themselves clean. However, there are obviously occasions when our bunnies, especially white ones can get pretty dirty and we may have to come to their rescue.
If you wish to help our bunnies a little with staying clean, you may soak the facecloth in warm water, squeeze it out and just gently wash the areas that are dirty.
However, if you really want to give your bunny a little bath, it should be OK to do so, as long as you are gentle and bunnies don’t get scared by the experience. Remember, bunnies are fragile and can get worked up quite easily, so the experience has to be as calm and smooth smooth as possible.
Make sure there are no drafts in the area and the room temperature is comfortably warm. Get a little Rubber-made tub. If you don’t have a shower head that is attached to a long hose than get a separate large container as well. Fill Rubber-made tub with enough luke warm water so that it will reach up to bunny’s shoulders. Place the Rubber-made tub into your bath tub, than put some baby no-tears shampoo or special pet shampoo and swoosh it around so it dissolves in water and creates some bubbles. Don’t make it too bubbly.
Fill the other container with clean water that is warmer than water that is in the Rubber-made tub, because it will have to stand there for a a little while. Get your bunny, put one hand on the chest under the arms and with the other hand support the bum and the feet, than gently lower bunny into water. Make sure the water is not too cold, but also not too hot.
Talk calmly, softly and gently to your bunny while you are doing this. “That’s a good boy/girl!”, “Isn’t this nice!”, “Yes, what a good bunny!”, etc. Gently rub with your fingers/hands any areas that need to be cleaned while they are submerged under water, scoop some water in your capped hand and pour over the areas of the body that are not submerged in water. Always support your bunny with one hand and be prepared that it may try to escape. Also be prepared to get wet ☺ Your bunny may try to stand up on the hind legs. That’s OK, you can still pour water over it with your scooped hand or a small cup.
Make sure you don’t pour water over it’s head, eyes and ears. For that you will need a little face cloth. Wet it, than squeeze the excess water out and gently move it over the top of the head, cheeks and under the chin starting at the front towards the back. Do this only if it’s really needed. Make sure you start far away from the eyes and watch that no water drops or rolls down in the eyes. You may even place either your hand or another rolled up facecloth just above the eyes to stop the water from getting in. Don’t wash the ears and make sure no water gets in them to avoid any infection later on. Also keep watching that bunny doesn’t get water in it’s nose and mouth. I really wouldn’t do the head unless absolutely necessary.
When done washing with shampoo, lift bunny a little with one hand, holding it under the chest, tilt the container and let the soapy water run out. Place bunny down again and with the other container that has clean water in it pour it gently and slowly over the body making sure you don’t get the eyes and ears. Remember to keep talking to your bunny in a calm gentle voice.
When done, lift bunny with one hand and with the other gently squish the water out of it’s body, arms, legs and tail. Wrap them in a towel and gently rub them dry. Than wrap them in another, dry towel and just sit with them for a while petting them and talking gently, so that they may relax and get dry, so that they would avoid catching a cold from any drafts.
Now, no one knows your bunny’s personality better than you. So you would be the one who will need to decide whether your bunny is ready for a bath or not. Some bunnies are very laid back and will not struggle at all. In this case just make sure you keep them relaxed throughout the procedure. However, some bunnies may be “fighters”. You many have to hold them a little firmer at first until they calm down, but making sure you are not hurting them. However, if you see them getting really scared and excited, I would not go through with this, as you don’t want to risk scaring them too much. Always keep in mind, bunnies scare easily and have fragile hearts. Their safety should always be your number one priority.
The same bathing technique can be used on cats, small dogs and other small pets like guinea pigs, etc.
Good luck!
