Many of my friends will probably giggle at this blog post because this isn’t the first time I’ve written about the Spiritual Influence of Bugs. The first time was in my book, God’s Clue, in which a cicada taught the great spiritual lessons of death.

For me, I get upset when someone “cheats” at the road rules by speeding, cutting people off, and generally being rude. In the adult world, this might be the beginnings of road rage and something that I have struggled with all my life. I grew up watching my parents cuss out drivers left and right, so it is very hard for me to control those reflexes.

How Divorce Saved My Marriage – The final installment of a 3-part series
by Angie Lile November 2, 2011I already knew that I had it in me to change my story anytime I wanted. So I no longer had to worry about making the “wrong” decision because if I didn’t like how things worked out, I could always change them again.

How Divorce Saved My Marriage – Part 2
by Angie Lile November 1, 2011Feeling a need to be supported is natural because we all want to know that we are doing the right thing. But no one on this planet can possibly understand what is best for you except YOU. This is something I knew and believed, yet still struggled with. I was really forced to trust the unknown for the first time in my life and I really hoped that I had the strength to walk this road “alone” if I had to.

READ: How Divorce Saved My Marriage – A Three Part Series
by Angie Lile October 31, 2011I began to realize that this is the gift that I had been given in Greece during my meditation. The gift to feel the great presence around me. To know that I was being watched over, cared for and kept safe. I knew that I could make this leap and that I would be okay because I would be living what was truly in my heart.

Being polite is more than just “good manners”
by Angie Lile September 14, 2011Being polite is an expression of love and respect and a knowing that we are all connected. It is having patience and understanding in all situations. It is consciously choosing to place yourself in someone else’s shoes each time you interact with them, no matter who they are or what they have done.

Is Kansas City the “heartland” of an imminent spiritual shift in consciousness for all of humanity?
by Angie Lile May 5, 2011Kansas City is a melting pot of religious diversity. Home to several World Religion headquarters, it has been hailed as an undeniable energetic space that many of its residents find sacred. But is it possible that Kansas City is actually an energetic center of what many people believe to be a spiritual and energetic shift in human consciousness?

Being a conscious parent doesn’t always mean we are conscious.
by Angie Lile April 11, 2011Being a conscious parent doesn’t just mean parenting with love, patience and a deep understanding of who we are and how we are all connected together; it also means standing up for what is best for our children, even if it causes them emotional pain. We can’t always be worried about what our children think of us when it comes to helping them to make good choices.

Why Conscious Parents will love Justin Bieber and his new hit movie, “Never Say Never”
by Angie Lile February 13, 2011It reminded me of how effortlessly we as humans can create our own reality when we really believe and let go of any needs that we have attached to the way things worked out. Justin got where he is today because he was just being himself. He loves to sing, he loves to perform, he loves to light up the faces that surround him and he does so with so much amazing energy that one has no choice but to be affected by his gift.

Egypt- Can intention save the world from “not enough”?
by Angie Lile February 4, 2011It is hard as a parent to know just how much to tell a child. My children are very mature for their age, understanding concepts that my parents wouldn’t even think of speaking to me about when I was their age. Engaging my children in worldly discussions is important to me for many reasons, but the biggest is simply this: I want my children to know me as the parent that cares about the world. Because that is who I AM.

The Arizona Shooting – What role do parents play?
by Angie Lile January 15, 2011Children are just sponges and have no way to really understand that the violence is “pretend” or just for “fun” or “entertainment”. I don’t think they think it’s fun to watch people get beat up or shot or whatever else happens.

Breaking the Illusion of “Need”
by Angie Lile December 22, 2010I’ve been struggling with a way to show my children how to release the need while at the same time telling them that they need to wear their seatbelts in the car. You can see why it would be difficult for me or anyone else who is not aware of this little catch 22 when trying to manifest their perfect life.

Conscious parenting can be a challenge especially when children aren’t following the “rules” but things are not always what they seem.
