The passion behind business

by Ryan M. Hoback

I live to create….

I eat, sleep, walk and talk about innovation, creativity and new business.

When I get excited about a new venture that I have been developing, I feel the excitement run deep through my body. A feeling of invigoration comes across me. When a new idea comes to my mind, I begin to get happy like a little child opening a present on their birthday. You see, this is passion, and this is what successful business organizations are built on. Passion. Passion is the driving force and inner desire among entrepreneurs and leaders across the world which makes you want to continually pursue going above and beyond.

The Passion behind business_

When I go into meetings with my employees I try, to take this passion with me into the board room. You see, passion for business and the desire to foster innovation within your organization can only be achieved through the empowerment of your employees. When I am in meetings, I make sure that those surrounding me understand that their thoughts and opinions are absolutely crucial to the forward progress of our company. Their feelings on the direction of our organization are directly related to the morale of the company as a whole, and this is directly related to the level of production that is accomplished. Passion runs through each and every individual, leaders who possess a positive passion for business can bring the same energy out of their employees through empowering them. This is passion.

When I think of creation and innovation, I think of hard work and intense desire. Everyone has ideas, but not every one has the ability to make these ideas evolve into a business reality. When a good idea comes to mind, I try to document every aspect of that idea immediately and then allow my inner energy and excitement to carry the thought from idea into business reality. I love that feeling of self satisfaction that derives from pursuing an idea and striving to make it a reality; that is passion.

No matter what you invent, create, innovate, design or mold, it is your passion for the project that will truly make you excel. Harnessing this passion and channeling it will only make the quality of your work better and more importantly, the joy you receive from your work that much greater.
