Believe in Yourself and be bodyPROUD.
What does that even mean? To the ego-mind, it may mean something that has no real value: It’s a sentence with out real meaning that does not resonate within you. In essence, you just don’t “get it”.
It’s true! Unless you have had an AHA moment and/or a sense of connection or understanding with that phrase, it is likely that there is something more than meets “your” eye. If that’s the case for you, and you are ready to evolve, it makes sense to set the intention of discovering what “believe in yourself” means to those who are connected with it.
We are two of “those” people who have connected with it and are eager to share our insight:
Believing in Yourself is a “knowing” that you are capable of attaining your soul’s desires. Whether it’s occurred in this “now” or not, knowing that you are the sculptor of your dreams, which in this case is “life”, puts a tremendous value on meditation, visualization, and enjoyed alone time spent deep in thought. The significant element here is in discovering for yourself what in fact is your soul’s desire? What, if you could have absolutely anything and everything, do you see yourself having? What just feels “right”, “you”, or “obvious”. Focus on those things and think them out in a vision, story, or feeling in your head. Ensure each element is something you enjoy and feel good about. Visualize those elements as part of a scene going into the detail you would take in as though you were living through that scene. Feel the energy moving through you as you experience the scenario unfold. Enjoy it. Desire it. Feel it. You know you have “it” when you feel emotionally connected. Achieving that point of passion, kickstarts your desired creations to actually unfold through out your life.
Embracing the “knowledge” that you have the ability and opportunity to create the life of your dreams, if you choose, is an important key to LIFE. And it’s a key we all have within us that is ready to unlock the door of knowledge once we are ready to embrace it. Those who have not yet had the “AHA moment of realization” — yet intend to — are in for something special.
To us, “believing in yourself” means you have figured out how to utilize the ability “within” to shape yourself and your life as you desire. This requires that you know you are a wonderful person with a great soul at the base of everything (even of those things for which you may not be proud). Know you can choose to be happy and/or accepting of situations at any or all times. Know that there is a choice on how every situation is perceived, and that the choice is yours. Know you have the power to instill a positive mood or reaction within others; Recognize that you are perfect just the way you are. Understand that you can accomplish that which is fuelled by your passion and “belief in yourself”.
The key here is figuring out how to “figure it out”. Well, we are here to share our experience with you in the hopes that it impacts the “switch flicker” within yourself; The voice that screams AHA!; The moment of realization. Once that switch flicks, it’s a brand new world. A whole new perspective. A new enjoyment to life.
So what did we do? Essentially, we went inward. We decided to choose to believe that a positive viewpoint belongs with each scenario. Where we realized we made mistakes, we accepted them for their life lessons and found our “AHA moments” within them for our own growth. When we heard ourselves give off anything other than positive energy; say anything other than positive words, concepts and sentences; “pretend” communicate with out actual full attention; and/or focus on more than one thing at a time, we decided to pause, re-evaluate, and start fresh. Once we set the intention to succeed in evolving ourselves, we became committed. We became each other’s eyes and ears, and we often spend quality time in silence and introspection. That type of awareness, leads to the ability to control our thoughts and lives. Ultimately, it becomes habitual and instils significant confidence from within.
Through our tight connection with those athletes who compete in the FAME World Tour, we know that physique competitions are also often instrumental in igniting that sense of “belief in oneself”. Through competing one gains a new appreciation for nutrition, physical activity, posture, the value of food, and visualization. After competing one realizes that they have the power and ability to sculpt the physique they wish to “wear” in that moment; that their actions and habits inspire others; that they can enact change within their own taste buds and cravings; and that they can transform both their inner and outer world through the preparation and competition process. Experiencing that overall physique transformation and celebrating their triumphs on stage becomes significant to personal development.
Regardless of the process you choose to use to discover what it means to actually believe in yourself, we encourage each and every one of you to start the process. Believing in yourself provides you an exciting foundation; a control center, if you will, to benefit yourself and navigate through life with both a purpose and a passion.
Choose to be believe in yourself. Choose to be bodyPROUD. Your happiness is worth it.
