The Art of Letting Go and Letting God
Ho’oponopono is an Ancient Hawaiian Huna* that facilitates forgiveness within you. There are four healing phrases used in a harmonic mantra that help to “making things right,” or “correct the errors.” Simply, Ho’oponopono is the Art of Forgiveness, or as I like to call it, The Art of Letting Go and Letting God.
Are there any hurts or pains that you would like to be cleansed from your life? Do you suffer with any unforgiveness? Ho’oponopono is a way to cleanse these hurts and relieve this suffering. If you’re still not too sure what I am talking about; I found an almost perfect definition of this forgiveness process on Babylon’s Free Dictionary:
Ho’oponopono purportedly: releases problems and blocks that cause imbalance, stress, and dis-ease in the self; brings peace and balance through a physical, mental, and spiritual “cleansing” that involves repentance and transmutation; and creates balance, freedom, love, peace, and wisdom within individuals, other social entities, the world, and the Universe. So, Just What is This Forgiveness Mantra?
I AM SORRY
PLEASE FORGIVE ME
I LOVE YOU
These four forgiveness phrases are most certainly healing within themselves. Just say one of those phrases to a loved one. See that it melts their hearts and heals their souls. Using this mantra in the Art of Forgiveness — you are not saying these words to another. Yet, you are speaking to the Divine. You say to the Divine…
- I am sorry for participating in this erroneous memory data.
- Please forgive me for not seeing the perfection in this moment, and playing back a Universal Memory within me that is riddled with wrongs and errors.
- Thank you for cleansing me, others, the World and the Universe.
- I love you! That is greatest power or energy that there is in all space. I love you, sweet Divine. I love everyone involved and affected. I know that they are in me, where this error first occurred.
Like planting a seed in soil; I do not know how this forgiveness mantra works on the inside. Over the past seven months this mantra has healed my family and me. The Divine does the work. I acknowledge the error and allow the Divine to work through me. It is amazing!
I use the Ho’oponopono mantra incessantly. Usually, I say Fleur dy lis. Which is a switch-word to the mantra. The Fleur de lis, clears and cleans all the pain associated with the erroneous memory data. My heart is healed and even my family or friends return to me with a lighter heart. I do not know how.
Begin to use Ho’oponopono to heal your own life and see that it will also affect the lives of others around you. You will get into a fight with your friend and leave with hurt feelings. Then you will say the forgiving mantra of Ho’oponopono, and return to your friend and find their heart healed as well as yours. Taste and see that it is good.
