When it comes to relationships, our personal journey through soul growth can be one of the biggest challenges we face. Especially if you come from a belief system that balks at any changes you are allowing from within your own being. However, it doesn’t have to be painful to allow your true self to shine.
When we first feel the calling for change, it’s magnetic. A strong force from within is driving us toward an unknown place. Our logical minds try to persuade us to ignore the calling, to not upset the apple cart of our comfort zone. Yet, we are drawn into the web of change and out of our comfort zone. This is where spirit can dismantle and remove what no longer works for us, leaving us with a blank canvas to co-create our lives and manifest the dreams our hearts long for. This is where happiness is discovered and becomes a part of our lives.
During the metamorphosis of our journey, we could find that our relationships with others is changing as well. Loved ones and friends may or may not be in the same place on their journey. They may be content with the way things are, or they are changing in a way that is unfamiliar to you. This is one of the areas in our journey where control can rear it’s head and try to reestablish the old system that everyone was under.
Another area of concern for many is the fear of what others think of us, when we want to change or grow into a new phase of life. This fear will stop the flow of change and lock you into a holding pattern causing blocked energy to build up.
The natural flow of energy is forward, which involves changes along the journey. Resistance to change will block energy. Holding on to an old issue, pattern or lifestyle that no longer suites you will also block the flow of energy.
Everyone, including friends and loved ones that don’t approve of your changes, will also at some point, desire a change for themselves. In the Spiritual Law of Attraction, to give others what we desire to attract to ourselves, is a key factor as the journey of your soul flows into the next phase of life for you.
Instead of fearing what others think of you, focus on how you could support and allow them to be their true self, without judgement. Isn’t this what you want in return? When you focus on allowing and supporting them, this will return back to you, allowing you to shine as your true self.
Focusing on what you believe about yourself will also bring more of this likeminded energy to you by opening doors to new relationships that match the vibrational frequency of your energetic field. It doesn’t mean that all old relationships will die off. They will change as the energy changes. In some cases, difficult or toxic relationships will most likely fade away if the vibrational frequency no longer matches.
Be the change you want to see in the world. – Mahatma Gandhi
On a a global consciousness level, we are all growing on a soul level to live in a world that allows the differences among us. The lessons in soul growth as we live our lives bring opportunity to expand our capacity to love and accept one another.
We discover new levels within ourselves through relationships, including where we need to expand. We practice what Jesus Christ spoke of in the Golden rule:
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.- Matt. 7:12
Freedom to be your true self begins when you allow others to be their true self.
We are all unique and this is a blessed gift. When you are striving to live your life filled with your passions and dreams, you are now contributing your gifts to the world and doing your part in making this world a better place.
Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.-Wayne Dyer
